XXIVth Day of the Basileús celebrated across the Nation

HAGIOPOLIS, Rhomania (RNA) - The Empire celebrates today the XXIVth Day of the Basileus, which marks the birthday of the current Basileus and Autokrator of the Romans, Emmanuel I & II. Aside from the Imperial birthday celebrations, the Empire also remembers and honors all previous Roman Emperors, which serve as the role models for the leadership and laity of the Nation.

In the Palace of Hagiopolis the festivities began early, as yesterday was the observation of the Tsiknopempti tradition, an opportunity for the Imperial family to gather. The conversation was naturally dominated by the current events in Ukraine and the challenges a war in Europe might present. There was also discussion about further developments in Rhomania and the way ahead, as well as other affairs.

This is the 9th birthday Emmanuel I & II celebrates on the Throne in the 10th year of Rhomania's existence.
