Rhōmanía divided between Hasanistan and Mahuset

HASASET, Vilayet of Rumanistan

In a surprising twist of events, the Basileia of the Romans splits and becomes officially part of Hasanistan and Mahuset, the Ministry of Interior has confirmed.

Hasanistan and its leader, Hasan Çakar, have gained notoriety in Microwiki history since the nation's establishment more than 10 years ago. Mr. Çakar is widely known for actively engaging numerous times in vandalism against Microwiki, as well as unsuccessful "trolling" attempts against Rhōmanía, Ashukovo and others, leading to his account's (User:OIMGov) banishment from the website. Similarly, the leader of Mahuset, Emiel Hardy, has also received a fair amount of criticism for related actions during his comparable amount of involvement with the wiki.

In honor of the memorable event, the nation's capital, Hagiopolis, has been renamed to Hasaset, a calque of the two nations absorbing Rhōmanía, now called Vilayet of Rumanistan. A new flag has also been adopted - one that many criticized for being ugly - carrying the colors and designs of Hasanistan and Mahuset.

What has so far been described undoubtedly raises the question as to why the Imperial Government has decided to split the Empire's territories between Hasanistan and Mahuset. When inquired about the issue, Basileús and Autokrátōr of the Romans, Emmanuel I & II, promptly replied with "We do a little trolling", without elaborating any further.
